  • Valor Christian Academy operates as a K–7 learning center in partnership with Valor Global Online and is fully accredited through Cognia. This partnership allows students of Valor Christian Academy to experience the depth of in-person, hands-on learning alongside a robust, global community of accredited schools with all of the academic framework and resources.

  • Our academic approach empowers students to pursue the curiosity, gifts, and the calling God has placed within them.

    • We follow Texas state standards and design learning experiences that are student-centered, rigorous, and engaging.

    • Instruction is grounded in educational best practices, hands-on learning, rich curriculum, and real books.

    • Grades K–2 are fully engaged in non-screen, developmentally appropriate learning, emphasizing a biblical worldview, literacy, numeracy, creativity, and relational growth.

    • Grades 3–7 experience a balanced, intentional blend of in-class instruction and select online tools through Valor Global Online to support conceptual understanding and engagement, not passive consumption. We do this to ensure each student has a learning path suited to their individual needs. We are not a one-size-fits-all learning model.

  • Bible: Valor Global Online has developed a proprietary Bible curriculum focused on biblical literacy, critical thinking, and understanding the unified story of Jesus.

Global Impact: Students engage with the past, present, and future impact of missions and the Great Commission, developing global awareness and servant leadership. Students will have the opportunity to connect with peers in Valor schools in Kenya, Guatemala, South Korea, and the Philippines.

History: Students will be grounded with a historically informed worldview that reflects the ideas and principles that shaped Western civilization and the United States. Through age-appropriate engagement with history and civics, students are introduced to the influence of the American Founding Fathers and the Judeo-Christian values that informed their understanding of human dignity, liberty, responsibility, justice, and moral law. This foundation helps students understand their role as thoughtful, informed citizens who can evaluate ideas with discernment and serve society with integrity.

English Language Arts: Our evidence-based, novel-centered ELA program follows a spiraled approach aligned with Scarborough’s Reading Rope, ensuring cohesion and growth across grade levels.

Math and Science: Valor Global Online is currently in a strategic curriculum adoption phase. During this process, educators, trained in best practices for instructional design, are curating high-quality, standards-aligned resources tailored to student needs. This allows for creativity, flexibility, and personalization while maintaining academic excellence.
