    Valor Christian Academy is currently seeking classroom teachers for:

    Position Summary: The teacher at Valor Christian Academy is responsible for cultivating a Christ-centered classroom culture where students are known, challenged, discipled, and inspired. Teachers design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that integrates Biblical truth across all subject areas while encouraging intellectual curiosity, character formation, and global awareness.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship

    • Model a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

    • Integrate a Biblical worldview into daily instruction and classroom culture.

    • Lead students in prayer, Scripture engagement, and spiritual formation.

    • Partner with families to support students’ spiritual growth and calling.

    Instruction & Academic Excellence

    • Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction.

    • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.

    • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

    • Use formative and summative assessments to inform teaching and student growth.

    • Incorporate interdisciplinary and globally relevant learning experiences.

    Student Development

    • Cultivate a classroom environment marked by respect, responsibility, and joy.

    • Support the holistic development of students—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

    • Identify and nurture each student’s unique gifts and strengths.

    • Provide constructive feedback that encourages growth and resilience.

    Collaboration & Community Engagement

    • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to strengthen curriculum and school culture.

    • Maintain consistent, professional communication with parents.

    • Participate in school events, professional development, and community outreach.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s statement of faith.

    • Degree in higher education, preferred.

    • Prior teaching experience, preferred.

    • Teaching certification, preferred.

    • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.

    • Passion for Christian education and student discipleship.

    • Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.

  • Security Guard - Job Description

    Position Title: Campus Security Guard
    Reports To: Principal
    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Position Summary

    The Campus Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, families, and visitors. This individual serves as both a protector and a visible presence of calm leadership, supporting the school’s mission by ensuring that campus safety procedures reflect excellence, integrity, and Christ-centered character.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Campus Safety & Monitoring

    • Monitor school entrances, grounds, and facilities during school hours and events.

    • Manage visitor check-in and access control procedures.

    • Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings and parking areas.

    • Identify and respond promptly to safety concerns or suspicious activity.

    • Enforce school safety policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.

    Emergency Preparedness

    • Assist in developing and implementing campus safety protocols.

    • Support fire drills, lockdown drills, and emergency response procedures.

    • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

    • Complete detailed incident reports in a timely and professional manner.

    Community Presence

    • Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for visitors.

    • Build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate authority.

    • Support school events, arrival and dismissal procedures, and traffic flow.

    • Model professionalism, composure, and Christ-like character in all interactions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certification in security or law enforcement preferred).

    • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field.

    • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.

    • Strong communication and observational skills.

    • Must pass background screening and any required certifications.

    • Supportive of the school’s Christian mission and values.
