How do I access a voucher for my student?
Vouchers are offered through Texas Education Freedom Accounts. More information about this program can be found on their website at https://educationfreedom.texas.gov/.
How do vouchers pay for tuition and fees?
TEFA funds are expected to begin disbursement according to the program’s website. Specific voucher questions should be directed to TEFA.
Each family is responsible for complete tuition and fee payments. All families must maintain an automated payment plan and continue making scheduled payments even if a voucher is expected but delayed. If direct family payments plus voucher funds exceed the annual tuition amount, VCA will refund the overpayment to the family once full-year tuition has been received.
Recommendations for Voucher Families: Families fully dependent on vouchers should select a 10-month payment plan with a 20th-of-the-month due date, allowing maximum time for voucher funds to arrive. All voucher families should familiarize themselves with the TEFA process.
How does my student apply?
Applications are available by clicking the INQUIRE NOW button at the top of this website. There is a nonrefundable $50 application fee per student. Once your application and application fee is received, your application will be processed. Once the application is approved, you can enroll your student.
How does my student enroll?
After your application is approved, there is a nonrefundable $200 enrollment fee. (Family maximum of $750 for application and enrollment fees).

One2One Tuition
VCA values global integration. Your student’s tuition will provide a child access to education in one of the Valor partner schools in a developing nation across the globe. Approximately $350 from each VCA student’s tuition is all it takes to change a child’s life and the generations that follow. Supported Valor partner schools are in the Philippines, Guatemala, and Kenya.

Tuition may be paid in full, on a 12-month plan (June-May) or on a 10-month plan (August-May). Partial-year tuition will be prorated.
Pay in Full Discount: There is a 2% tuition discount if you pay in full by June 15.
Founding Family Discount: There is a 5% discount on annual tuition for each student that enrolls with Valor Christian Academy in its founding school year, 2026-2027. This Founding Family Discount will be applied annually until each child in your family graduates from VCA.
Are scholarships available?
VCA does not offer tuition assistance at this time. As VCA continues to grow, we hope to offer scholarships for our VCA families. If you would like to donate to VCA’s scholarship fund to increase our scholarship availability, please visit the GIVE tab on this website. Thank you for your support.
Tuition and Billing Information
The stability of our school and the quality of its programs are of the utmost importance. We have partnered with Valor Global Online and Veracross to help us manage our tuition payment program and billing of incidentals. We are excited to be working with them and to provide a secure, convenient payment option for families.
You will realize these benefits by using our services for your tuition payment plan:
Payment Dates: You may choose either the 5th or the 20th of each month as your payment date. Automatic payments can be made from a checking or savings account or from a variety of credit cards.
Convenience & Security: Along with multiple payment methods, your payments are processed securely through a bank-to-bank transaction.
Consumer Account: You may check your personal account or make payments online from the convenience of your home or office anytime.
One of the universal challenges in education is achieving a balance between our educational mission and financial stability. We will work with families should special circumstances or hardship cases arise during the school year.
What if I need to withdraw my student?
Sometimes, circumstances are such that students need to leave after classes begin. This includes any withdrawal from the first day of school up to the final week of school. Students leaving VCA will be formally exited, and transcripts will be released.
Please send formal withdrawal notice to vcaadmin@valorschool.org with the student’s name, grade level, and final date of attendance.
VCA tuition for the month of withdrawal is not prorated, and VCA will bill for the entire withdrawal month plus a withdrawal fee of $500 per student. This fee covers all One2One commitments and withdrawal expenses.
What is Valor Global Online (VGO)?
VGO is a school from home. It is fully accredited, has a Biblical foundation, offers online-live classes to its students, in-person events for its families, and founded the unique One2One Mission model. VCA is in partnership with VGO. VCA, therefore, holds the same Biblical foundation, One2One mission model, and curriculum values as VGO. Visit the “About Us” page on the VCA website for more details.
Is VCA online, too?
VCA offers fully in-person instruction for our students in Portland. We do not have an online component.
